Sony Ericsson announced two new phones that reportedly continue the Walkman line – the Zylo and Spiro. SE touts both sliderphones as music-centric with a social networking slant.
Meanwhile, the Spiro comes with dual-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and a 2.2 inch QVGA TFT screen and a 2 megapixel camera. There’s also a memory card slot for microSD cards up to 16GB and a 3.5mm audio jack.

SpiroZylo supports the HD FLAC audio format, a high-quality lossless audio codec, ensuring great audio quality. There’s also Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picasa and Youtube. It is 3G enabled with dual-band HSDPA but there’s also quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE. There’s also a 2.6 megapixel TFT screen with QVGA resolution and scratch-resistant surface.
